MY FAMILY

Hi welcome to my website. I wanted to give you more information about who I am that can not be found in my about page. A part from being an author and a soccer player I am a daughter, a sister, a sister-in-law, a granddaughter, and a friend.

I want to take the chance to write about the people who have impacted me the most in my life and who have encouraged me in all my endeavors as an athlete and now a published author. My hope is through this post you can see more of who I am through those who are closest to me.

First my amazing parents Chad and Jennifer! I dedicate the work I did in my book to my parents. They raised me to be the woman I am today and I have learned the lessons that are articulated in the book through them and who they are. They have been my biggest supporters, coaches, and teachers throughout my life. My mom has shown me what it means to work hard and give a 100% in everything in life. She is an example of what it means to be a strong, fierce, loving, and confident woman in the world today. I have adopted many of her attributes and I hope to continue to learn and grow to be like her one day. My dad has shown me what it means to follow your passion ten fold and to fully rely on God. He has shown me what it means to be a leader, a speaker, and at times a follower. He also wrote a book called “The Rock Tumblr” and helped guide me during the writing of my own book. Second my sister Shayne! She is my best friend and someone I could not live this life without. She has been one of my biggest supporters and has shown me how to go through challenges in life with my head held high. I sadly have to share her with my brilliant brother-in-law Nick. I got to play soccer with my sister one year in college and got to watch Nick play. They have both been huge influences in my soccer career.

Lastly my extended family including those who are not blood relative has shown me so much support in my life. They have all contributed to raising me to be the person I am today. I look up to each of them in many different ways.
