AUSTIN, Texas – Indiana Wesleyan women’s soccer saw five Wildcats named to the 2023 Academic All-District® team, selected by the College Sports Communicators.
The Wildcats were Macy Browning, Morgan Busick, Courtney Cockrum, Abby Drahnak, and Sydney Stott.
The CSC recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Eligible student-athletes need to be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average, and must compete in 90% of the institution’s games/contests/sets played OR must start in at least 66% of the games/contests/sets.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced December 20. Academic All-America team is based upon athletic and academic achievement. CSC membership covers sports information directors and content creators across all levels of collegiate athletics.
